What counts as "published"?
A showcase is published when you toggle it on in the editor. Only published showcases are accessible via embed code. Unpublished (draft) showcases can be edited and previewed but won't load on your site.
The free tier limits the number of published showcases to 5. You can create unlimited drafts and switch which ones are published at any time.
What's the badge?
Free-tier embeds show a small "Powered by vitrine" badge in the corner of the viewer. Upgrading to Pro removes it.
Upgrading
- Open the dashboard
- Go to Account
- Click Upgrade to Pro
- Complete payment via Stripe
Your plan activates immediately. All existing embeds lose the badge, and the publish limit is lifted.
FAQ
Can I try before I buy?
Yes. The free tier gives you full access to the editor, all effects, and 5 published showcases. No credit card required.
You can even try the editor without creating an account — anonymous uploads work for 48 hours.
Can I downgrade?
Yes. If you cancel Pro, your plan remains active until the end of the billing period. After that, you return to the free tier. If you have more than 5 published showcases, you'll need to unpublish some to stay within the limit.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Annual billing is $120/year (2 months free compared to monthly).
